Building systems & materials

  • —P2 folding units prioritised for first occupancy; P1 quick-assembly kits increased bulk bed and sanitary capacity.
  • —P3 expandable units provided larger command and clinical floor areas after rapid deployment.
  • —Adjustable supports used only after bearing-surface and temporary wind checks.

Site & phasing

Module IDs on the delivery list matched shelter zones so mixed batches could be directed without resorting.

Schedule

  • —Days 1–3: access, bearing surface, drainage and zone marking by site team.
  • —Days 3–7: command, sanitary and first P2 shelter deployed.
  • —Days 7–14: remaining P2/P1 shelter, clinic and stores completed.

Constraints & approach

  • —Incomplete infrastructure: WASH and minimum power interfaces were treated as first-order dependencies.
  • —Mixed dispatch: priority components went first for early occupancy while bulk shelter followed in batch 2.
  • —Temporary foundations: placement remained subject to bearing, drainage and wind checks.
  • —Clinical scope: equipment and medical gases were provided by the response agency.
